You are forgetting the rather large amount of day in - day out use of
quite a lot of the amateur microwave spectrum. I'm speaking of linking
of voice, data, and ATV systems. Much of this is in daily (or in many
cases continuace) use. There is far more of this than most amateurs
realize because it's "behind the scenes". This use benefits thousands
of amateurs - most of whom have no clue that they are talking over a
microwave link.
There are also more amateur experimentation that takes place over many
of the higher amateur bands than most people are aware of..

Ham radio operators have a long history of integrity, we should not allow the misrepresentation of the use of these uper frequencies to protect the scores of 10-20 operators in a contest to stand in the way of using these bands for the good of all americans. We don't need more than a few mhz per band above 2.3 ghz.

Hmmm, how do I get 6 fast scan ATV links to arrive at the same site at
the same time in "a few mhz"? BTW, each link uses a 17MHz wide channel.
