Hi Ralph:
I will be in Tehachapi this weekend, from tomorrow afternoon through
Monday noon. So, will try to check in to the 432 Net, with the mobile
from a good location, on Sunday night. Catherine will be running the net
from Wilton, so we'll see how her big signal is up there!
Earlier on Sunday, we may also check in to the WSWSS 75 meter net, from
Tehachapi. My antenna is in a very bad location, trees around it, low to
the ground, etc. but we're up high at 4775' and hear you guys very well.
It's so quiet up there I can't believe it. N6EQ and N6RMJ know how bad
the antenna location is presently; they help me put it up on a
shoestring about a month ago! Once the tower is up, the wire antennas
will be up much higher as well. My job for the spring is to apply for
the approvals for the first tower.
73, Mike K6NC
