I'm going to be in DM22 and 23 at least a half dozen times over the next couple of months. Definately weekend trips and I'll keep you posted when those days look more firm. Pretty easy to take long boom antennas for these two bands ... :-)
Second weekend in May I'll be in the southern Death Valley area and points between Trona and Ridgecrest, have to do a bit more checking on exact locations and grids ...

I still need ten more grids on 222 and eleven more on 432 for VUCC. I have
eleven unworked CA grids on 222 and six on 432. Any chance of persuading
someone to make a desert run before things get too hot? I have a loaner 222
transverter/IF radio, amp, antenna available. I don't have any 432 loaner gear,
but equipment is much more common for that band.
CA grids needed:
222 CN71, 80, CM79, 93, DM02, 15, 16, 17, 22, 23, 24. Also DM25 (worked but not
confirmed) and 26 (NV) are of interest.
432 CN71, 81, CM79, 93, DM22, 23.
CM79, 93 and DM02 are obviously not likely, but I will loan equipment if someone
is scheduled to activate any of those grids and doesn't have 222. 1.2G loaner
gear possibly available also for these grids.
This is OT for SBMS, but I know you guys know (and probably have access to) good
sites in those desert grids. Some of you even rove and are active below 1GHz.
tnx, 73
