Don Steele passed away 29Nov09. Don's interest in Ham Radio started in 1940 with tinkering and lately was into the microwave equipment. Little is know of his expertise and abilities.
However, with Don's passing, we have hundreds of boxes (I mean hundreds) or radio equipment saved from the late 40's to now. Nothing has ever been thrown out but stacked and meticulously labeled in storage. This also included magazines from years ago. Don was licensed in Canada in 1951. The radio room has all the latest equiipment.
We have huge antennas in the back yardthat someone might like to own and a radio room and storage full of equipment that will take a more than average person to understand. There will be no charge for the antennas, but must be removed neatly. All equipment will probably be put into a garage type sale aimed at ham operators. There will be thousands of items. Included are hundreds of items such as: power transistors, IC's, shrink tube, transistors, resistors, capacitors, digital meters, etc...and I have no idea what this stuff is.
Don's wanted the Ham clubs to benefit from his equipment and with a reasonable donation to his wife Dorie.
For more information and all previews of the equipment contact me. Hopefully, we will have an inventory list soon.
