We finally got our new towers and new VHF and UHF antennas up last weekend
at my summer Sierra wilderness cabin site in Nevada County after several
months of effort. I will be operating as a single operator low power this
weekend from a 5000 foot elevation from Nevada County, California, in the
Sierras using solar power and batteries from CM99 with the following:

6M: 180 watts to an M2 11 element yagi having a 70 foot boom at
70 feet (Yes it really has a 70 foot long boom)

2M 180 watts to a Cushcraft 17 element yagi at 60 feet

220 MHz 120 watts to a 23 element M2 yagi at 66 feet

430 MHz 120 watts to a 28 element M2 yagi at 70 feet

1296 MHz 10 watts to an 88 element M2 yagi array (four M2 22 element yagis
vertically stacked and horizontally polarized) at 52 feet

I will be periodically testing equipment and antennas on these five bands
and monitoring the calling frequencies up in the Sierras beginning this
Friday morning from up in the Sierras until the contest starts on Saturday
and I will be staying up there on site for the entire contest through Sunday
night. I will be primarily on SSB and CW on all five bands. On Friday I
will be in and out of the radio room as I will be outside checking feed
lines and making adjustments and performing maintenance but I will try to
monitor the calling frequencies on all five bands as often as I can on
Friday and I will be rotating the antennas and calling CQs during the day
both on SSB and CW on all five bands.

I do QSL and my QSL info is OK at QRZ.com. I hope I can give some of you a
new grid square confirmation on one or more bands this weekend and as a
minimum a few multipliers during the contest. See you in the pile ups!
