Wow, that's horrible news!  I can't believe it.

I hadn't talked to Norm in years, since he was in Nevada.  Then last 
June I was up at Table Mountain near Wrightwood and I had a handheld 
with me.  I was messing around on 146.520 and I threw out my 
call.  When I heard KB6KQ come back to my call, I couldn't believe 
it.  We talked for about 25 minutes as he headed across Highway 58, 
pulling his trailer somewhere.  We got caught up on a lot of stuff 
and he talked about loving his new QTH in Kelso, Washington.  Wow, so 
weird to bump into him that way, random and out of the blue and then 
I can't believe it has already been almost a year since we spoke.  He 
will definitely be missed.
