[Wswss] "Best VHF/UHF radio"?

Yesterday's question regarding the price of the FT-736 and modules, 
prompts me to ask "is the 736 still considered the best VHF/UHF radio?".

Discounting transverters, the only thing I can thing of is a TS-2000. 
Any other radio I'm missing?

I'm not that familiar with either radio but as I remember, the FT736 has 
fairly low power while the TS-2000 has 100w on 6 & 2.   What is the 
power of the various FT-736 modules?

My logging program (N1MM) supports the TS-2000 but not the FT-736.  Is 
this a wide spread problem?

On the other hand, the 736 has a 222 module.

Don't know about the selectivity and sensitivity of the two radios.

Opinions/facts appreciated.
