The San Diego VHF group will hold it's regularly scheduled breakfast 
on Saturday, 2 FEBRUARY as a tribute to our friend Gary, K6CYS, SK. 
at 0900 at the Spice House Restaurant. The restaurant is located one 
block east of HRO at 9035 Clairemont Mesa Blvd. At noon, Febreary 2, 
there will be "Celebration of his Life" memorial at El Camino 
Memorial Park on 5600 Carroll Canyon Road (Sorrento Mesa Area) San 
Diego, CA 92121. Immediately following that service there will be a 
reception (1:30-4:30), at Admiral Kidd's Club, at the Naval Anti 
Submarine Warfare Training Center, between Nimitz Blvd, and Laning 
Road on N. Harbor Drive. Directions to Admiral Kidd's Club will be 
available at the memorial service.

In order to accommodate people coming to the various events, could 
you please e-mail me with number of people that will be attending the 
breakfast so that we can have the restaurant set aside enough tables 
for everyone. And perhaps also if you plan on attending the reception 
following the memorial service.

Gary's passing has left a major void in the Ham community as well as 
for his family, co-workers, and friends. We wish his wife and family 
our best wishes.
