Team

Thanks for all your helpful information re 903 MHz rigs. Based on your
inputs I have now purchased one and I hope to receive it and be on the air
with it shortly. I will initially have only a 903 MHz mobile antenna but I
have acquired more Heliax and I am putting up another tower and rotor in
anticipation of putting up a gain antenna for it and for my 1296 MHz rig. I
have reviewed the available M2 yagis for 903 MHz and the Directive Systems
loop antennas but I have been unable to find any omnidirectional fixed
station antennas for 903 MHz gain or otherwise. I would very much appreciate
learning what those of you who are on 903 MHz are using for both
omnidirectional and gain antennas. I hope to be able to have everything
together and operating in time for the ARRL January VHF contest. I doubt
that I will initially be competitive from here in Saratoga but I should be
able to hand out some contacts and multipliers on six bands from here in
Saratoga CM87 (when I am not snowed out of my Sierra wilderness cabin I am
usually on from my CM99 "summer" QTH but I am currently snowed out from my
Sierra QTH). Thanks for any guidance and 73, Ted, K6XN. Please respond
directly to K6XN @ ATT.NET
