Hi Lance & all on reflectors
Since Ralph & I have been running this net, we have tried to stay on
3925KHz as this has historically been used by WSWSS
This worked OK in summer condx, but is clearly NOT going to work in winter
condx
Both this week & last, 3920 has been clear from 4:30pm - 5:00pm
I'm reluctant to move too far in freq as some people's antennas need major
retuning (including mine <g>)
We were forced to move from a start time of 5pm to 4:30pm as we were losing
propagation at abt 5:10pm.... (band going long)
We do stay on freq until 5pm for a uaranteed 30min net - longer if condx &
traffic warrant
The net is very informal, & Ralph and I enjoy hearing what folks are up to,
exchanging info abt nets, condx, etc
We get check-ins from peolple active in vhf/uhf/microwaves/EME
All are welcome!
