First of all, special thanks to NA6XX and K6QXY for taking the net the
last 2 weeks while I was out of town. They report the following stations
active on 23cm:

Tuesday 4/24:
k6qxy
wa6uap
k6tsk
kd6ire
na6xx

Tuesday 5/1:
wa6uap
wa9wbv
k6tsk
na6xx

Last night (5/8), these were the stations heard and logged on 1296 here in
Northern Cal:

wa6klk	CM89	Len	Willits
k6qxy	CM88	Bob	Santa Rosa
wa6uap	CM97	Pat	San Jose
na6xx	CM97	Chuck	San Jose
w6qiw	DM04	Steve	Santa Barbara
k6tsk	DM03	Ralph	Anaheim
w6cyx	CM87	Bob	San Jose
kc6seh	CM98	John	Broderick
wa6qak	CM98	Bill	Pollack Pines
w6izu	CM98	Ken	Diamond Springs
k6hcp	CM97	Ken	Gilroy

It's been hot the last couple of days (temps in the 90's), and local
conditions were only just fair; the longer paths were quite good, though,
with both Ralph and Steve strong and fairly steady. Gordo (WB6NOA) was
active on Sunday with good signals (about s2) on both cw and ssb.

On 902, there was W6IZU, KC6ZWT, WA6QAK, K6IBY, W6QIW and myself. Signals
between Steve and I were much better than during the winter, and the band
is opening longer (5 minutes at a time or more) at s2 to s5 on ssb.

73, Jim
