Hello All VHF/UHF operators, members of the Western States Weak Signal
Society both active,
inactive (dues paid up or not), and future members. . There will be a
WSWSS luncheon get
together this coming Saturday, March 11,
from 11 A.M. till 1:00 P.M.
The location is the home of Hank Meyer, W6GGV, 3801 Walnut
Ave. Long Beach, CA Hank's phone # 562 424-4891.
Driving Directions: from the 405 fwy in Long Beach, take the Cherry Ave.
North Exit and go North.
Go about one-half mile 4 stop lights to Bixby. Turn left (West).
Go to Walnut (a stop sign). Hank's house is on the N.W. corner.

We will be serving a FREE LUNCH of hot dogs and some of the famous, prize
winning, KI6FF Chili.
We will be meeting outside in the patio, dress accordingly. Bring your
own chair, and soda or other soft drinks.

We will be taking nominations and preparing a mail-in ballot for the
election of officers of the WSWSS. If you are planning on running for
office or are nominating someone then please be at the meeting. If you
cannot attend then e-mail me(ki6ff at juno.com) information on the candidate
and what plans they have for improving the WSWSS.

We will hear from all officers of the WSWSS (past and present), those
wishing to run for office, and word or two from the founder. We will be
discussing possible changes to the constitution and bylaws, ideas for
improving group solidarity and participation. All present who desire to
express their opinion will be heard.

I hope to see you all there. I personally don't want to see the group die
a painful death but, possibly the goals we set 11 years ago are not
attainable as the group is presently constituted. Go to the website for
information on the present constitution, bylaws and mission statement
(www.wswss.org).
