Hello Everyone,
Once again I will be operating station N6VMO from the Satellite Amateur
Radio Club site on Vandenberg AFB.
50MHz - IC-718, Ten-Tec 1208 XVTR, Mirage B1050 @150W, 5ele. homebrew
yagi
144MHz - TS-790A, TE Systems Amp @ 400W, 2x2M5WL
432MHz - TS-790A, Mirage Amp @ 100W, Cushcraft 18ele. yagi
902MHz - IC-718, DEMI 902-28 XVTR, converted cellular service amp @
250W, 18ele. Tonna yagi
1296MHz - TS-790A, M2 22ele., 10W
Look for me on the calling freqs and then QSY'ing up the band.
All you Southern California guys, point a bit farther west of north to
pick me up.
Although moon conditions are poor I will try some JT65B EME on
144.128MHz, 2nd sequence after moon rise at 0300UTC on May 11 (2000PST
May 10).
I would like to try some JT65A tropo on 144, 432 and 1296 if anyone
would be up for this activity. So, if you think we'll have a difficult
time QSO'ing on CW or SSB any of these three bands, let's set up a
schedule for JT65A.
If 50MHz is booming, well.....
Hope to hear you all out there. Good luck...
73
John
