Hi Dave from Dave, NC6P.  Weak signal is horizontal.  Best place to point it
is at the person you are talking to.  (That is a joke, please excuse me).
However, point it up to Vacaville on Sunday, 8PM, freq=144.25 USB.  Larry
conducts the net here.  http://www.wswss.org/  , click on net info.  It was
a kick when I checked in here.  After the net, I worked a fellow in Fresno
from San Francisco on a 2 meter loop with an Icom 706 and 50 watts.  It just
gets better as you learn more.
