Tim,

And where for doesth thou goest?

Well in fact, we close our escrow this thursday and will be handed the keys
to our new(er) home! July 29th the moving begins. Fortunately, we still
own our current home and can take a couple weeks in the move (unfortunately
we then have two mortgages to pay for). It is a long-haul, almost a mile!
So after many pickup and minivan loads (and one day of heavy moving with a
U-Haul truck) we will have arrived (Aug. 05).

Yes, my radio shack consists of my FT-847, 80-40m dipole, triband beam, and
2m/70cm vertical. Much has been boxed and more will follow. Then after
the move is the fun digging new holes for concrete tower bases, and putting
the arrays back up. One thing I am thankfull of is doing the station
wiring diagrams in detail a few months ago. That should ease the
frustration of figuring out what plugs in where (if I can find the box that
the drawings were packed)!

We do have an advantage in the 60F wx! Today was overcast and rainy.
Tends to be such into August and September up here. Hoping for a few sunny
dry days for tower work. So initially we will only have the 2m/70cm
vertical and a rover station. But what a grand opportunity to build it so
much better (we can dream, right?).

Hope your move goes well!
