  I just received my August QST yesterday in the mail.  On page 28 you'll find an article "Building UHF Yagis - A Practical Approach" which is authored by a fellow WSWSS member Jim W6PQL.  This is one of the best how-to articles I've seen!  Congrats to you Jim!
 
  After you read the article, just maybe your interest will be peaked to get up on 1296Mhz.  I had a chance to play with it during the last June VHF contest and really enjoyed it!  Maybe you will too.  Fridays there is a 1296 net.  Catch Ralph's (K6TSK) or Jim's (W6PQL) postings on our list for more information.
