[Wswss] meteor scatter question

WA6KLK here.

With regards to ms, I have a small 4 or 5 el antenna up and presently 
have moved it to a fixed azimuth--abt 45 degrees--and a fixed 
elevation--about 17 degrees--.  My question is -----Does it matter if I 
am vertical or horizontal for ms  ???

I would like to leave it up as an fm antenna for local work thus 
vertical,  but wondering if I need to be horizontal for ms.   It doesnot 
seem to me as tho it would make a big difference but then again I am 
only really familiar with tropo work and there it really makes a 
difference--ie--horizontal to horizontal.

Any ideas from anyone  ??
