Greetings all

After spending most of last week assisting my daughter as she evacuated New
Orleans, including over thirty hours of driving back to the west coast, I'm
not up to much driving this weekend. That and the cost of gas dictate a
minimal rover effort for this weekends VHF contest.

Here is the tentative plan: Start the contest in CM97 atop Mt Diablo. I
plan on staying as long as there are people to work, an hour or two.
Operation will primarly be up ten from the calling frequencies on 6, 2 and
432 (please look for me). I'll also be monitoring 223.5 FM.

Sat night I'll be on highway 35 above Palo Alto in CM87. I plan on arriving
about 7:00 PM and will again stay until I've worked everyone I can hear.

Sun morning I'll be in Santa Cruz in CM86. I should arrive by 9:00 AM.
Depending on the level of activity I might also activate CM96 while over in
Santa Cruz.

Hope to see you from multiple grids.

73, Tom K6EU/r
