Local conditions were very good despite all the mixmaster wind we had in
this area; N6KLD did a bit of work on his system, improving his signal by
at least 20db, and was heard as far away as Willits. W6IZU is now sporting
a 60w signal, and also did very well tonight. Down the coast was very
tough tonight, though Ralph and Steve made it through OK. Steve and I were
also able to connect on 902 a bit later, though conditions there were just
as bad as on 1296.
