Hi Pat,
There should be some old TVRO dealers around. Call them or put an AD in your
local Shopper newspaper.
The best dish (performance, true parabola) is the Prodelin/Macom 3.7 meter
or 4.5 meter or larger. The Prodelin dish can be identified by
being fibreglass and the rear is molded with "compartment" type
ribs for structural strength.
The Paraclipse 12 footer is a good mesh dish for 1296 but I am not sure how
it would do on 10 GHz.
If the dish is up in the air, sight across the edges to make sure
it is "true" and not twisted. Many fibreglass dishes are warped
although you shouldn't see a Prodelin with this problem.
I am sure that you will receive many other tips. The above tips
are in the interest of lowest or no cost.
