To celebrate the lives of President Ronald & Mrs. Nancy Reagan, Special Events station, N6R, will operate ARRL's "Field Day 2005" from the grounds of the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum. Hours of operation: 11AM PDT Saturday - 11AM PDT Sunday.
 
Members of the Ventura County (CA) Amateur Radio Society (VCARS) & the Simi Settlers Amateur Radio Club will operate on the 6 meter, 2 meter, 1.25 meter, & 70 cm bands (SSB/FM/CW) as well as most of the HF amateur radio bands. (146.52Mhz FM will NOT be used!)
 
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum is located at the west end of Simi Valley, CA atop a high ridge overlooking Simi Valley, Moorpark, and towards Camarillo. Visitors are welcome during the Library's normal operating hours. To visit the Field Day site is free, but the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library & Museum charges a nominal fee to tour the Presidential exhibits.
