2PM PDST Friday July 15th 2005...

We will be on the road soon. Leaving Fallon NV enroute to Lakeview OR (via 
Reno/Susanville) where we will spend the night. Due to towing a tower 
trailer and limited time to prepair before hand...

222 Mhz will NOT be active on the way there. I will have it running mobile 
on the way home though, so Monday look for me in CN91, CN90, CM99, and DM09 
CQing 222.100.

Saturday, K7XC/7 Will Be atop 8200' Drake Peak in CN92 this weekend for the 
CQ VHF Contest.

I wil be using a IC746 on 6 and 2 and a IC706mkIIg on 222 (thru a 
transverter) and 432.

The station layout will be as follows...

a 4 ele yagi and 100w on 6M,
a 2M9SSB and 100W on 2M
a 9ele Gulf Alpha Yagi and 120W on 222
a M2 440-18 and 110W on 432.

I am looking forward to spending the weekend in a forest service lookout, 
something I have dreamed of since I was a kid!

222 will be on at all times for those who need CN92 for a new one!

Norm - KC6ZWT - CM98 and Tim - NS9E - DM09 will be my on air / internet 
liaisons for skeds before and after the contest. Find them online via the 
222 proplogger if you have trouble finding me on air.

Also... Tim - NS9E will be on air from my home station in DM09ol using his 
brand new TS2000 into the long yagis I have setup there. He should be on the 
various proploggers and such. Look for him!
