I post this for a new member of WSWSS... Nice grid Multi
6 Meters -
400 watts, Cushcraft 50-5 Vertical Pol., Cushcraft 50-5 modified longer boom Hor.
Pol., M2 6M7-JHV Hor. Pol.
2 Meters
400 Watts, Cushcraft 13B2 Vert. Pol., M2 2M5WL Hor. Pol.
222
200 Watts, M2 222-10EZ Vert. Pol., M2 222-5WL Hor. Pol
432
250 Watts, Cushcraft 719B Vert. Pol., M2 432-13WLA Hor. Pol.
902
DEM Transverter with a 60 Watt Amp, Cushcraft 13 ele Vert. Pol., M2 902-14WL Hor.
Pol.
1296
10 watts (no amp here) - M2 23CM35 Hor. Pol.
2304
DEM Transverter - stock power, Andrews BBQ Dish antenna (this will be a serious
challenge)
Pre-amps for all bands except 2304 - radios may vary this time around, we're ringing
that out right now ... I usually stack some of the lower band antennas and leave them
pointed at a major metro area, using the longer boom antennas for the fringe stuff
....
Elevation will only be about 2000 to 2100' ASL but I'm clear without higher
obstructions out to about 65 miles away ...
traditionally from DM12tu my path to the east is usually 250 to 300 miles, good on
everything up to 432, to the north 300 to 450 was the norm, without any significant
prop enhancement.
elevation roughly 6000' ASL
from DM12rr, path to the east was usually 250 to 300 miles, same as above - to the
north, was getting 400 to 600 mile paths on 144, about 250 on 6m and 432 - had really
good luck on 222 as well, everyone that thought there wasn't any chance of working me
(even those in mobiles using a vertical whip and 25 watts were worked without an
issue
Elevation roughly 4900 ASL
Hope to work a bunch of folks who need this Grid Square, but only time and contesting
will tell
