Hello VHFers,

The WSJTgroup is sponsoring their annual North American High Speed
Meteor Scatter 2005 Winter Rally starting Friday evening. This
week-long event coincides with the Geminid meteor shower, so propagation
will be generally good when the radiant is above the horizon. Most of
the activity will be on WSJT FSK441 and JT6M, but any meteor scatter
contacts regardless of mode count for this contest. See
http://www.ykc.com/wa5ufh/Rally/NAHSMS.htm and
http://www.sportscliche.com/wb2fko/w05/rules_w05.html for complete
information. There are categories for high and low (<200 watts) power,
as well as assisted and unassisted (no Ping Jockey skeds) operation.
QSOs with your own grid or any of the immediate 8 surrounding grids do
not count. Exchange callsigns, 4-digit grid square and Rogers for a
complete contact.

I hope to work some of you via MS. Please listen for my CQ on 50.260 and
144.140 MHz.

73,

Walt, AJ6T
