Local conditions were very good. Weather was in the mid-70's today, not
much wind, downright nice. This was especially helpful on the longer path
down the coast; Ralph was good copy on SSB (about s3 at the peak), and
Steve peaked at s5 several times. QSB was not deep, and peaks were coming
about 4 minutes apart.

There are more stations upgrading to higher power now, and at the M2inc
gathering, several 60w amps were purchased from KJ6KO, so looks like some
of the guys are getting serious.
