After a real downpour, it was clear and cold here tonight, no wind to
speak of. Local signals were on the weaker side, as were the long-haul
trips. KK1CW, who has to use backscatter to hear Ralph and Steve, reported
hearing them briefly off of Loma Prieta. WA6UAP, on the other side of San
Jose (West) reported hearing Ralph at s2. Steve was s9+10 at his peak when
working K6QXY.
