[Wswss] Refector Content

Folks,

I had several people, including David, KI6FF, ask me about the ballots (I
was an ARRL elected offical till several months ago). I responded globally
on the reflector. I did add my choice for candidates for Director, which I
felt important, but probably wasn't the appropriate place to do so. Whether
or not you agree, I thought it important to support a candidte I thought
would be looking out for our (WSWSS) best interests. With everything going
on nowadays, it would seem germane for a member to articulate his or her
support third person and not a direct campaign from a candidate or his
staff. I fail to see the harm in this.

As for the content of this reflector, I get tired of reading about the
1296 stuff, though it's in the stated purpose and goals of the WSWSS, just
not my cup of tea. I just don't care, so I politely delete them, no
problem, as I know a lot of you all are interested (that's fair I think).
However, rather than moan and groan about the campaign issue (6 messages I
count to date), perhaps the delete key should have been politely used....
Like I did for the 1296 posts and not the send key. Ya think? I didn't
think any line was crossed and nobody was attacked or maligned (absolutley
verbotten!).

73 All, de Kent, K6FQ
