A reminder for Calif stations, the California QSO party is this weekend.
Although this is primarily a HF contest, contacts on 6 & 2M count.

The contest committee is making a special effort to increase activity on VHF
this year.  A plaque will be awarded to the station who makes the most QSOs
on VHF.

A good time to look for contacts will be the "rally" times of 2000Z and
0400Z.  Stations who operate the contest mainly on HF are being encouraged
to move to VHF at these times.  Recommended frequencies are 50.135 and
