Ventura Co., CA, (DM04) RACES Area 2 will be conducting a simplex test Tuesday (18 May) evening @ 1900 - 1925 PDT to acquaint members with how well simplex communications can work.

Although the demonstration is primarily for RACES Members in Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, & Oak Park, CA, out of area checkins are permitted.

Frequency: 146.85 Mhz FM Simplex (the output freq. of K6AER/rpt)

Checkins may use any legal power level/antenna.

Net Control will be:
Pete, N6ZE/6 with FT-817 & J-pole antenna
QTH will be Tarantula Hill at 1000 ft above Sea Level in Thousand Oaks, CA (DM04na)
