 I buy the plugs from Yaesu directly. They are in Los Alimitos and the plugs
are under $4.00 each. They fit Kenwood, Yaesu and Icom 6 pin (only 4 are
used) plugs.

I too am looking for another power cord for my Icom 706 since the original
power cord is cut short for the car installation.  When I remove the 706 and
bring it inside as in the recent VHF contest, I need to borrow a cord from a
friend.  The $28 or so price at Powerwerx is sort of high.  Does anyone else
sell replace cords for the ICOM 706 or (756pro) that are not so steep.
