A good turnout considering the absence of some of the regulars. Stations
that were logged here in Northern Cal:
W6GYD - CM87, San Jose
WA6KLK - CM89, Willits
WA6UAP - CM97, San Jose
WA6JYU - CM88, Novato
WA6QAK - CM98, Pollack Pines
KC6SEH - CM98, Broderick (West Sacramento)
W6IZU - CM98, El Dorado
K7NOM - CM98, Elk Grove
K6NC - CM98, Wilton
KG6HXI - CM98, Wilton
KK6TE - CM97, Jamestown
K6TSK - DM03, Anaheim
W6QIW - DM04, Santa Barbara
Conditions were fair down the coast, and good towards the East. Bob in
Jamestown finished up repairs on his feedline, and was able to check in
directly, about s1 at his peak.
Dan, K6NKC was on from DM12, and worked Ralph and Steve; I missed hooking
up with him, due to not checking my email just before the skeds, sorry
Dan.
Weird local conditions abounded, with Don (San Jose) and Len (Willits)
enjoying 20-over signals from one another. At my QTH, Len was +20 on
direct heading, and +30 off of the hills to my South, almost 180 deg away
from direct heading. This has happened before...haven't figured out what
is is yet. Lasts for hours when it happens, though...Len and I were on
until about 9:45, and it held up all night.
Thanks, hope to see everyone on next week...
Jim / W6PQL
