Jeff,

I bought a signal source from DEM for 10 GHz this spring. Basically it is
the MICROLO pcb model WSS1152K and outputs 1152.030 MHz (when using the
192.005 MHz xtal). You then drive a diode to produce harmonics of 1152
(i.e x9).  I have a wr-90 diode mixer with a 1N23 to make a signal at
10368.270 (DEM claims it will produce a -75 dbm signal on 10 GHz). Be sure
to shunt the output of the 1152 MHz source with a RF choke to provide a dc
return for the diode.

Port station: FT-817, DEM-xvtr, qualcomm PA, Antenna: 21-dB Horn or 18-inch
DSS dish.
