Hi all,
Well the Jan VHF/UHF contest is coming up in a week, Jan 24-25.
So brush the dust off of your microwave gear. And get the microwave band
active in Southern California.
I will we out as the back seat operator for the N6TEB/R rover. We will have
6, 2, 222, 432, 902, 1296, 2304, 3456, 5.7 and 10 GHz.
We will be starting at the beginning of the contest at 11:00 AM Saturday, in
DM24, on Belle mountain at 4000'. We will be there for couple of hours. We
will be lower down in DM23, after that. We will be coming back into the LA
Basin, in the early evening, and stop on a hill in Walnut, DM14. Then
heading through DM13, DM04 and to DM03 down at Signal hill, around 9 PM.
On Sunday morning, (5 AM) we leave DM03, and will be soon in DM04, and head
north to DM05, CM95, CM96. We plan to be in Kettleman city around 9 AM. We
will roam around the grid corner, and then head up to DM07 around 3 PM. We
will be up there for several hours. We will start heading down and back
home, hitting DM06, and DM05, by the end of the contest.
Hope to work you all.
