Do you know a new ham that has a lot of questions but you are just too busy
to help them out? Do you have ham radio questions and can't find anyone to
answer them for you? If you said yes to either of those questions and you
live near the Orange County (California) area, you are in luck!!! Our ham
club, The Anaheim Amateur Radio Association (www.aara.org) has a once a
month "Elmer" session that is geared for new hams or even seasoned hams
that have questions.

Our next session is tomorrow, Saturday, January 17, 2004, at Our Redeemer
Lutheran Church. The church is located at 12301 Magnolia Avenue, between
Chapman and Lampson. The session is informal and starts at 10:30 with free
coffee and doughnuts and runs until all the questions are answered. As I
said, this is an informal session. We do try to start with one topic and
work with those questions and answers, but we will gladly answer any
questions on a different topic.

We also ask that you bring along any radios that you don't understand how
to program or operate. We can help you set them up and show you how to use
them correctly. Please remember to bring along the manual.

We hope to see you there tomorrow.

Neil Jessen - N6VHF
Past President - AARA

P.S. The session is held in a classroom in the rear of the church
grounds. Please park in the rear parking lot and the classroom is in the
north westernmost portion of the complex.
