[WSWSS] 4-250A question/WTB

Hopefully somone on one of the lists will be able to answer this inquiry...

I am fortunate to have acquired a pair of used but good 4-250A's with 
which I will attempt to build a PA for 6-meters. I've been contemplating 
using a pair of the tubes in grounded-grid service, but cannot find any 
information on such an application in any of my handbooks. The older 
ARRL handbooks give data for the 4-400A in GG but mention the 4-250A 
only in C/AB1/AB2 service...does anyone know of a good reason that the 
4-250's cannot be used in a GG circuit similar to the 4-400's?

As a result of the acquisition of these tubes I am looking for a pair of 
sockets and chimneys for the 4-250's.
