...I agree with Jack and Larry...
  I don't like to wait for beacons to transmit either and am a big fan of OMNI 
high power beacons for E and TROPO.

  If Battery power is what's needed, i may be coming into a lot of 180ah, 6V 
batteries soon if that will help..

  Also...There may be a 222 beacon going up to Bald along with the others soon!!

..i also have 2304 and 5760 equip I will be looking to convert to beacons down 
the road.

....I am in need of some sort of a 902 exciter as a beacon.  I have many 50W 
PA's and antennas so an exciter is all that's left.
