WSWSS,

I thought I would drop a note to WSWSS on the status of the 6 meter EME
project at AA7A. As some may recall, I presented a proposal for an idea to
work 6 meter EME using a rope yagi at the conference last October. Well,
that idea appears to work. I made my first contact last night with W7GJ.
Lance, formerly WA1JXN/1, has a very nice 4-yagi EME array. We used the JT44
mode (using K1JT's WSJT software) and the contact was fairly easy to
complete.

I have assembled a page on my web site for this project. Take a look around
on the site. I will be adding more information on the EME scheduling page
soon. As of this time, I believe that there are approximately 25 stations
worldwide that I can work with this system. My hope is to work another
similarly equipped station to mine so that if the concept catches on, there
will an ever-growing number of stations to try to work. Here's hoping.

Go here to check out the site:
