N6DN/R, with AD6HT, will again be following the traditional N6DN route.

We will be starting the January 2003 contest, weather permitting, near
Gustine in CM97. From there we will go through CM96 to the intersection
of CM95, DM05 and DM06, operating from near Kettleman from about 3 to
5:30, or so. After diner, we will go over the Tehachapis, arriving in
DM15 probably at about 9:00. Please hang in there for us to get to
DM15. We will proceed to DM14, where we will spend the night. On
Sunday, we will start at about 9 am from the intersection of
DM24/DM23/DM14 and DM13. Hopefully we will be back in good range of the
valley in DM 13 by about 2 pm, followed by some operation from DM14,
DM04 and DM03.

Our Gear will be as follows:

6 meters - Loop Ant for ssb, will listen sometimes on fm, 100 watts
144 - 7 ele M2 yagi mounted atop vehicle - 50 watts ssb and fm,
probably also vertical on fam
222 - 7 ele M2 yagi and about 60 watts on ssb, also on 223.500 fm
432 - 7 ele Sweich yage and 20 watts (maybe 50 watts) on ssb
and 446 fm (vertical)
902 - 11 ele M2 yagi with 6 watts
1296 - Sweich yagi with 1.5 watts, also will be monitoring
1294.5 fm, possibly with looper
2304 - 3 watts to looper
3456 - 10 watts to looper
10 ghs - 70 mw to two foot dish on camera tripod

222 mhz and 902 mhz are DEMI transverters, 1296, 2304, 3456 and 10 Ghz
are DB6NT.

We will attempt to go up the bands, starting on 144 and working in 6
meters, probably before going to 222. We will go to the calling
frequencies and announce a qsy frequency that will generally be 30 khz
up, depending on qrm. It is particularly helpful for folks to follow us
from band to band. We will hit all of 'em and will take requests, so
long as we can keep things orderly and move fast. Roving requires a lot
of quick operation, so we will try to do things as economically and
quickly as possible. Thanks for all of you who will be riding with us.
 We really appreciate your support.
