The yearly WSWSS conference is Saturday, October 11 at the Sheraton
Cerritos Hotel. 12725 Center Court Drive, Cerritos, CA 90703; (562)
809-1500. Room rates for the conference are $85 + tax, single or double
occupancy.  Mention the WSWSS VHF and UHF Conference and confirm your
rate. Make reservations before Sept. 19th to get this rate.  Friday night
4PM we will begin registering people for the conference.  Informal
socializing that evening.  Saturday. the program starts at 9 AM and
continues to 4PM.  Then a WSWSS meeting from 4 to 5 PM.  The conference
and meeting are free admission to all WSWSS members.  New members or
inactive memberships just pay next year dues of $10 and get free
admission.  The awards banquet and banquet speaker is Saturday night 6 PM
till Midnight.  The banquet cost is $35 with three menu choices.  Banquet
tickets must be purchased in advance.  Send checks made out to WSWSS for
