Hi Kent,
Hv you ever thought abt trying 2m eme? You always can find people with
whom you can run skeds & during the activity weekend once a month or
during several different contests each year, you can work a lot of
people on random. Just think, not only can you achieve VUCC much
easier, but you can also earn WAS, WAC & DXCC on 2m. Just my input.

OK,
I'm in the dark. Who are we eluding too in the previous posts about
rovers?
I had one input as to the decline in Weak Signal operators, where is
the
activity? Folks just want to talk. I've been on every night now for 2
weeks on 144.2 and 50.125 calling CQ and listening up and down the band.
I've only talked to a few folks (6 to be exact over 3 days and both
bands). Its no wonder folks don't want to keep a multimode VHF rig, who
do you talk too? Can always find someone on FM or HF. Maybe we need to
have more "informal" nets. Sunday's everyone is on the WSWSS 2 meter
net, what of the rest of the week? I've been absent for awhile, the SM
job, family (2 young kids) and work take nearly all of my time so
finishing my tower project took a backseat. But I found the time to
complete things and now the bands are quite. But I'll continue to make
noise nonetheless.
Just my input....
73, Kent
