Greetings all,

The Fall Sprints, sponsored by the Southeastern VHF Society,
are coming up in just a few weeks. Below are the dates with
times. The Sprints are a fast paced block of time where all the
activity is compressed into a short period. That makes them a
great chance to get on and work lots of stations on your favorite
VHF+ bands. 

The bottom four bands all have their own separate evenings for
the contest. The  microwave bands ( 902 and up ) are grouped
together on a weekend morning.

More information about the Sprints including the rules and a list
of who is handling the logs for each band will be found on the
SVHFS webpage as soon as our Webmaster gets the info

September 16, 2002 Monday 7pm-11pm--144 Mhz Fall Sprint

September 24, 2002 Tuesday 7pm-11pm--222 Mhz Fall Sprint

October 2, 2002 Wednesday 7pm-11pm--432 Mhz Fall Sprint

October 12, 2002 Saturday 6am-1pm--902, 1296, 2304, 3456, 5760 Mhz Fall
Sprint

***October 19, 2002 Saturday 23:00z til October 20, 2002 Sunday
03:00z--50
Mhz Fall Sprint

***(Note: A different date may be out in some publications
      for the 50Mhz Sprint. October 19 is the correct date.)

Please get on the bands and have a good time. With all the
pressure on our frequencies from commercial interests it is
important to show amateurs are using them. Please be sure to
submit your logs even if you only make a few contacts.
