Hi all,

Don't forget to get on tomorrow night for the 432 Fall Sprint!

The 432 Mhz Fall Sprint is on Wednesday October 2, 2002
from 7pm - 11pm local time.

The Fall Sprints are sponsored by the Southeastern VHF Society
again this year. A plaque sponsored by C3I will be presented to
the top 432 Mhz Sprint finisher at the SVHFS Banquet. You do
not have to be present to receive the award.

The Sprints are meant to encourage activity on the bands. As
part of that, the rules regarding means of coordinating or soliciting
contacts are relaxed somewhat.

  "7. Use of telephone, packet or internet methods to coordinate
   contacts is acceptable, so long as complete exchange of
   callsigns and grids is accomplished on the relevant amateur
   radio band."

Also please note that there are still two more Sprints after 432 Mhz;
the Microwave (902 Mhz and above) Oct 12 and 50 Mhz Oct 20.
