Yes, I did leave out local control or wireline control...BUT I seriously
doubt they have any control on it and THEY CANNOT CONTROL IT ON 2mtrs..
that is illegal under Part 97 period...
Yep, the bandplan definitely comes into play...funny though...this is
EXACTLY the problem the CSVHFS petition a few years ago was trying to
prevent...and the FCC, ARRL, and several rptr groups fought it...
So much for that thinking.......(lets get real people!! This stuff WILL
happen more and more as people ignore gentlemen's agreements....and
if it isnt in the rules, some folks say "do it!"....without any thought
about their actions upon others....(HMMMM sounds like 27 MHz to me!)

While Chris is correct that a repeater input or output can't be below 144.5
on 2M, his remote control statement is not correct. IF the remote control
is via amateur radio it must be on a frequency of 222.15 or above, but it
can also be locally controlled, or wireline (for example a TelCo leased
line). Sorry, I don't have a copy of part 97 in front of me here at work
or I would quote chapter and verse. Yes, some other rules apply and
obviously it's well outside the bandplan!
