The Rover team of WE7X and WY7Z, using the WE7X callsign, are happy to
report a score of just over 24k for our effort in the June VHF event.
After the final entry was input to the computer, the following
results were generated.

Band QSO's Mult'.s

50MHz 67 16
144MHz 58 12
223.5FM 28 10
432 MHz 50 13
1296MHz 24 8

Totals 227 59
Grids Activated 10

Total claimed score 24,357

Using paper and pencil to log, I was surprised to only have three
duplicate QSO's on the raw log; two of which were with other rovers who
were using computers for logging.
A bit more judicious use of our time (like spending more time on the
road) could have easily resulted in activation of two or three more
grids, and having been in a high place instead of driving in a long dead
valley may have resulted in our being able to participate in the 6m
opening a bit more. Having said that, we had a good time, saw some new
country, got ourselves a bit lost once, and will be back for more. Maybe
the next time, the 'Dry Side" of Washington State, will really be dry.
