  Hello again

The RG-58 I am using in the shack is about less than 50 feet..and have been getting 59 reports, from just about everyone..The dipole is built by diamond but not sold in USA,it's called W215S and is actually 2 bands..15 meters and 6 meters..its about 13 feet in lenght..and sits about 12 feet above ground and about 6 feet above my roof..it's a metal roof. Signals to Japan is usually around evening time and its been between 10-13 utc..or later...

I am planing to install a 2 meter m2 loop antenna about a foot or more above the dipole..but might have to switch to a different pole as the the mast is supporting 2 G5RV's,one is 102 feet and the other is 50 and the 50 is an inverted V. It was amazing to say this but in 2001 I used the g5 to work 10 out of Japan, and the 9m6 out of malaysia..

Thanks for the help and will look into the coax ideas..the rg-58 I am using is about the size of those sold at radio shack.

I checked with my shipmates and the club that Rick mentioned was new to em..and as I am still sailing east and In the imortal words of Doug, I will return to manila soon..
