FYI, I found some of the guy assemblies for the AB-577/GRC mast system. 
W6FM pointed me to American Science and Surplus:

where I found the 40-foot version of the guys (#26781) for $9.50 each. I 
figure I can add guy cable to allow these to be used on the mast's 
higher guy points.

Now all I need is the adapter to bring the mast down to some diameter 
that'll allow top-mounting a rotor.
