This for you information. The moon should be up approximately 30 degrees
for the first night and up 49 degrees for the second night in Western US.

Subject: [amsat-bb] SETI Calibration at Arecibo Observatory
Greetings, FYI
The SETI antennas inside the Gregorian Dome at the Arecibo Observatory in
Puerto Rico are going to be calibrated. This calibration is going to be
performed using EME transmissions on 1296.000. The transmission is going t=
o
be originated from NJ from the Phoenix Project Team. In case anyone is
interested in trying to receive the EME is going to take place on 21st
March, 2002 at 18:30 EST for a period of 60 minutes and also on 22nd, March=
,
2002 at 17:30 EST for the same period of time. It is going to be CW and it
is intended to be a one way transmission. Great opportunity to test your
1296 receiving gear.
