For alls information... Happy New Year from Both Sue and I...

I am pleased to announce that starting Jan 18th 2003 at 8pm on 
144.150 we plan on starting a new net on Saturday night with a new 
mode for 2 meters.

The net will be done on psk31 usb. The net control operator will be 
John KM5ES in EM25di. I will start looking toward the north calling 
cq swot psk net and move around clockwise. The net will start at 8pm 
central time and run til 9pm. Since there is a promotion to enhance 
psk activity on two meters the net will be held on 144.150. All 
stations are to tune to the net control operator. I ask that all 
stations tune to the net control. When you check in please give your 
Grid location, Name, and SWOT number.

There has been alot of interest in having this net by the VHF/UHF 
group on Yahoo which their membership has 475 people active in it. 
This will also hopefully effect the sideband nets and let everyone 
know about SWOT.

I would like to ask the big station to try and use 30 watts or less 
on this mode, it should be no problem. I have worked staions 400 
miles away using this mode on 2 meters. If any questions need
