Interesting. Many of those kinds of stores have gone out of busineess.

When we lived in Maryland 20-30 years ago there was a large shop
in Baltimore that had a storefront with ham radio "Boatanchor"
gear in the window.  In the basement they had many more pieces,
including a complete station set up with Collins "Gold Dust Twins"
75A4 receiver and KWS-1 transmitter.  So called becuase of the PRICE
and PERFORMANCE of the radios.

We still have Skycraft in Orlando  but it;s more of a parts den, and at one
time 15-20 years ago they still sold used vacuum tubes there. No longer
now. A lot of hams visit there when they are in town for the Orlando Hamcation (hamfest.)

Yes, I was wondering because the reflector archives looked like the traffic died in 2017 or so.I have later "Galaxy" branded radios: the III, the V mk2, GT-550.
A long time ago, WRL/Galaxy closed up & a bunch of their spare switch parts ended up in a surplus store in Denver.  That store closed & who knows where they went then but I think some of them are in my local surplus store, which is also in the process of going out of business.  Thinking about whether I should grab any switches that look like their parts or not.
