[WRL] 755 and 755-A VFO will not fit into Globe King

The WRL 755 or 755-A VFOs will positively NOT fit onto the chassis of any 
Globe King Power Supply.

These are AC powered Stand Alone VFO's... with power transformer, rectifier 
and voltage regulator tube making the chassis longer.. and the layout 
different.

$ 100 to $ 200 doesnt make the VFO's " rare" they just aren't as cheap as 
heathkits.

It is perfectly acceptable to use these VFO's outboard with any GK 400 or 
500 series radio.

You will need to use a pair of contacts to key the vfo...
which can be on the same relay you use to mute your reciever ( eg DPST or 
DPDT) .


I do this with my 500B rf deck... in conjunction with my upgraded 400 Power 
Supply and Modulator.
